When quality and mobility are key requirements for your printer, check out the portable Citizen CX-02, which has joined the renowned Citizen CX printer line, offering a new level of quality, mobility and compactness.

The portable CX-02 printer is 2 kg lighter and 15% smaller than the CX model. Even so, you can still produce top-quality photos in just 8 seconds. In addition, the printer features a new paper-saving function. No more waste thanks to the ability to print 4 x 6" (10 x 15 cm) photos using 6 x 8" (15 x 20 cm) media. These features make the CX-02 the perfect printer for event photographers, photobooths and retail points of sale.

Energy-saving function

A sleep mode has been added to minimise standby power consumption to below 0.5 W. Standby power is reduced by 98% compared with the conventional model.

Compact dimensions

A compact dye-sublimation printer that can hold 400 print media (paper + colour ribbon). The compact printer occupies around 85% of the space compared to the CX model.

The CX-02 weighs 12 kg (without media), which is 2 kg less than the CX model.

Can be installed in the space of the previous CX model

The height and depth of the CX-02 are the same as the conventional CX model. The printer can be easily installed in the place of the traditional CX model.

Colour ribbon winding function

The dye ribbon winds forward after printing an odd number of sheets in 10 x 15 cm and 9 x 13 cm sizes, allowing printing without wasting half a colour frame.

Cutting

In the printer driver you can enable additional image cutting in half – creating the characteristic photobooth strips (5 x 15 cm).

Natural tonal gradations

Thanks to newly developed software and hardware improvements, even smoother tonal gradation is possible compared to conventional models.

Fast even during continuous printing

Even during continuous printing, the printer’s mechanical design minimises delays caused by a hot print head.

Full front access

All maintenance operations can be performed “from the front”, with no need to remove the printer from the kiosk configuration.
